Slumdog.
Slumdog Millionaire: This movie won so many oscars. And I definitely think it deserved all of the awards it got. This movie was amazing, and I suggest you go watch it! :) Also, congrats to Ms. Winslet for winning Best Actress in a leading role. I've heard she's been nominated for the award in the past, and now she finally won. Yay!

brand new-ish.
Life's been getting crazier lately. I kinda like it. It's to the point where I hardly have time to sit down and relax, but the point where I don't mind always being out and about. It's a new thing. life, with a new attitude. Like KrizAnya says, attitude is everything. I've been a little more controlling of not only my money, but how I manage my time, what I eat, how I react towards others, and just life in general. I've been going to the gym, feelin' real good, taking control of my diet, and just a lot of other thaaangs. The love life? Oh, let me just say it's love, y'all. Like, the kind of love where you don't have to try to be amazed, you're just amazed. You don't have to try to make things work, they just do. To sum it up, it's PERFECT, for lack of a better word. I mean, yeah, there's a few ding's here and there, but it's about compromise, and we're definitely mutual on every aspect of our relationship.
Anyways, what have I been up to? Well, school for the most part. And work, which is fun since I get to mainly work on the visual aspect of it (displays, mannequins, signage, etc.), but at the same time sellin' my heart out! I've been trippin' the past two weeks 'cause I wasn't sure if my manager was gonna give me next weekend off (for valentine's day, duh!), but she said as long as I stay top-seller or somewhere in the top-seller range, I'll be able to go. And guess what? I'm going to vegas next weekend to spend some QT with my BF. Holla at a playa!
I've been stressin' off figuring out what I'm tryna do for my 21st birthday (which isn't until may), but I'm sure everything will come together.. I'm more concerned about people who AREN'T 21 who I wanna celebrate with, so it sucks. I really wanted to go to Cancun or Cabo for my birthday (which is still a possibility), if my cohorts get the skrilla (I pray that they do!) But that's not until July, so for my actual birthday, of course I'm gonna spend it in Vegas. But we'll see how that pans out. I still have time, but I wanna get everything planned ahead so that it's cheaper, yadidaaaaa.
Hmmmmmmm... Oh yeah. Drumline! I've been stressin' off drumline too because their first competition is this weekend and the parents and I are trying to get all the uniform pieces together ASAP, but it's just a money issue that we're dealin' with. Some of the kids don't have the money to pay for their uniforms, which I feel really bad about, but at the same time, there's kids who HAVE paid, and it's just not fair to them. Ugh!
Ok, now I'm just going on and on, and I really don't have anything to say. haha. I gotta go register for new classes now, and study for my test so peace easy you beezy. Ciao.
